Columbus Earth Center

Studio Tungsten needed several characters animated for a gigantic screening in the science museum Continuum in Kerkrade.
Columbus Earth Center
In: Experiences, Character, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Octane

In the Earth experience, we rise high above the surface of the earth to view our equally majestic and vulnerable home planet from the International Space Station (ISS).

The 360-degree film for the Columbus Theater has the visitor looking down from two rings on a round projection surface of twenty meters in diameter.

In this project, my responsibility was to animate a believable astronaut floating in space.

The experience is well received, and five years later you can still watch it over at the Columbus Earth Center.
